This collection corresponds to the former Escuela Normal del Magisterio de Granada, the forerunner of the current Faculty of Education Sciences.
The documentation covers a period from the mid-19th century to the beginning of the 20th century, and includes aspects related to the management of primary and secondary education and teacher training in the university district of Granada, which included the provinces of Almería, Granada, Jaén and Málaga.
It also includes the Inspectorate series, where a wealth of information on individual schools throughout the university district can be found.
