Academia Politécnica de Málaga

The Polytechnic Academy of Malaga, founded in 1888 by Pablo Salvat Contijoch, operated as a private centre within the framework of what the Law of Public Instruction considered to be an Academy for special studies, focused on primary, elementary and higher education, and aimed at students of both sexes. In its facilities, it was possible to study Commerce, free subjects from various faculties, languages, different specialities of Fine Arts, also known as "ornaments", and preparation for special careers in the Military, Post and Telegraphs, Customs, the Bank of Spain, Teaching, etc.
