The school approval files include the documentation submitted by schools to legalise private schools
which, until that time, lacked regulations regarding the characteristics of their teaching facilities and
the training of their teaching staff. By virtue of the Royal Decree of 1 July 1902 (pdf), it is specified thatthese centres must send a series of documentation to the Rectorate in order to proceed with the
aforementioned authorisation, in addition to other circumstances, such as a change of address or
Director.
The following division by provinces gives access to an alphabetical list of schools, which in turn
links to the description of the related file. The plans that were included have been digitalised, and can
be viewed via the corresponding link included in the aforementioned description.
Finally, there are a number of school files that also include photographs of the school. Given the
interest of this circumstance, they have been indicated by the corresponding icon, and the digitised
