It includes the documentation from these colleges from their foundation (1536), through their later union and up to their extinction (1832).
This fund was acquired by the University in 1995. These colleges, especially that of Santa Cruz de la Fe, are of great importance in the history of the UGR, and their members have held positions of responsibility in the University on numerous occasions, even having a reserved seat in the Senate.
Of special interest are the series of Expedientes de Limpieza de Sangre de Colegiales y Familiares, which constitute an important source of genealogical information on specific characters, and which extends from 1536 to 1832.
