The Economic Society de Amigos del País were non-state bodies that emerged in the second half of the 18th century, whose aim was to promote the development of the country, especially economically, and which began in cultural circles.
The Granada Society requested its creation in 1775. The collection comprises 10 books, corresponding to the years 1775-1934. Among this documentation, the one corresponding to the constitution of the Society is of special interest.
